Toddler Yoga

“Movement, or physical activity, is thus an essential factor in intellectual growth, which depends upon the impressions received from outside. Through movement we come in contact with external reality, and it is through these contacts that we eventually acquire even abstract ideas.” ~ Dr. Maria Montessori

Our Toddlers have been working with Ms. Russell on a variety of yoga poses.  They have used the book Yoga Bunny as a source of inspiration.  Mrs. Baldwin read the book as Ms. Russell and Ms. Davis did the poses.

Yoga helps to build confidence.  It also increases strength, coordination and overall focus.  I am fairly certain that there is nothing cuter than toddlers practicing yoga.
