Flower Arranging 101

Flower arranging is a new work in the toddler environment this year and so far it is a huge hit! Toddlers get to practice many fine motor skills when arranging flowers, as well as coordination, care of the environment, and pride in their work.

First we go get water.

Then we walk carefully with the water so we don't spill.

Next we pour the water slowly and carefully into a vase.

We choose a few flowers to add to the vase.

Then we choose where we which table or shelf we would like to decorate.

Then we get to enjoy the beautiful arrangements in our environment!
