Phase-In Toddler Style!!!

A Beautiful Environment

The beginning of the school year in the Toddler Environment is an exciting time. Many new “firsts” take place for children. Some children are separating from loved ones for the very first time, others are experiencing a group of children their own age for the first time. Many children are going through exciting transitions in their lives like using the toilet, and being able to take care of some of their own needs on their own.

Our toddler classrooms are designed to be welcoming learning environments that encourage exploration and independence. The first weeks can be a big adjustment for the children, with new routines, experiences, and unfamiliar faces. Our phase in period for these young children is designed to ease them into our care, fostering comfort and trust in small groups for small amounts of time, increasing both the number of children and the amount of time gradually. Our hope is that the gradual transition will set the children up for a successful year of learning.
